We are all good people. But the Prophet, peace be upon him, has given some characteristics of good people.
Let's check ourselves are we on that list? Or not?
The Prophet, peace be upon him, said that 12 people are the best!
One.
-īē§َīģ´ْīēŽُīģُīģĸْ īģŖَīģĻْ īēَīģَīģ َّīģĸَ īēīģْīģُīēŽْīēīģĨَ īģَīģَīģ َّīģ¤َīģĒُ
"The best of you is he who learns the Qur'an himself and teaches it to others." (Bukhari, 5027)
Two.
-īēِīģĨَّ īē§ِīģ´َīēīēَīģُīģĸْ īēَīēŖَīēīēŗِīģ¨ُīģُīģĸْ īēَīē§ْīģŧَīģًīē
"Surely the best of you is the one who has the best behavior among you." (Bukhari, 6035)
Three.
-īēِīģĨَّ īē§ِīģ´َīēīēَīģُīģĸْ īēَīēŖْīē´َīģ¨ُīģُīģĸْ īģَīģَīēīēً
"The best of you is he who is good at repaying his debts." (Bukhari, 2305)
Four.
"The best of you is the person from whom all hope for good and fear no evil." (Tirmidhi, 2263/2432)
Five.
"The best of you is the one who is good to his family." (Sahih Ibn Hibban, 4177)
Six.
-īē§ِīģ´َīēīēُīģُīģĸْ īēَīģْīģŽَīģُīģُīģĸْ īēَīģْīģ¤َīēīēًīē īģَīēَīēŖْīē´َīģ¨ُīģُīģĸْ īēَīģْīģ¤َīēīģًīē
The best among you is he who is older among you and better in (good) deeds. (Ahmad 7212)

Seven.
īē§َīģ´ْīēŽُ īēīģīģ¨َّīēīēąِ īēīģ§ْīģَīģُīģŦُīģĸْ īģِīģ īģ¨َّīēīēąِ
The greatest man is the one who is most useful to mankind. (Sahih al-Jame' Ha/ 3289)

Eight.īģŖَŲīē¨ْīģ¤ُīģŽْīģĄِ īēīģْīģَīģ ْīēِ īēģَīēĒُīģْīģِ īēīģīģ ِّīē´َīēīģĨِ īģَīēīģُīģŽīē īēģَīēĒُīģْīģُ īēīģīģ ِّīē´َīēīģĨِ īģ§َīģْīēŽِīģُīģĒُ īģَīģ¤َīē īģŖَŲīē¨ْīģ¤ُīģŽīģĄُ īēīģْīģَīģ ْīēِ
"The best man is one whose heart is pure and whose face is truthful.
Companions asked, O Messenger of God! The honest face is understood, but who has a clean heart?
Rasulullah īˇē said that the heart is clear and pure, Muttaki, in which there is no sin, no extravagance or oppression, no treachery and hatred. (Ibn Majah 4216)

Nine.
īē§َīģ´ْīēŽُ īēīģˇَīēģْīē¤َīēīēِ īģِīģ¨ْīēĒَ īēīģīģ َّīģĒِ īē§َīģ´ْīēŽُīģĢُīģĸْ īģِīēŧَīēīēŖِīēِīģĒِ īģَīē§َīģ´ْīēŽُ īēīģْīē ِīģ´َīēīģĨِ īģِīģ¨ْīēĒَ īēīģīģ َّīģĒِ īē§َīģ´ْīēŽīēŖِīēِīģĒِ
The best companion to Allah is he who is best to his companion. And the best neighbor to Allah is he who is good to his neighbor. (Tirmidhi, 1944)

Ten.
-īēِīģĨَّ īģŖِīģĻْ īē§ِīģ´َīēīēِīģُīģĸْ īēَīēŖْīē´َīģ¨َīģُīģĸْ īēَīē§ْīģ َīēīģًīē
“The best of you is the one whose character is most beautiful.” (Bukhari, 3559)

Eleven.
īē§َīģ´ْīēŽُ īēīģīģ¨َّīēīēąِ īģŖَīģ¨ْīē°ِīģَīēً īēَīēُīģٌ īģَīģ َīģ° īģŖَīēْīģĻِ īģَīēŽَīēŗِīģĒِ īģŗُīē¨ِīģ´īģُ īēīģْīģَīēĒُīģَīēĒ
The greatest in dignity is he who, riding on his horse, terrifies the enemy, and the enemy also terrifies him. (Bayhakbir Shuabul Iman 4291)

Twelve.
-īģَīģ¤ُīēْīģŖِīģĻٌ īģŖُīē َīēīģĢِīēĒٌ īēِīģ¨َīģْīē´ِīģĒِ īģَīģŖَīēīģِīģĒِ īģīģ˛ īēŗَīēīģ´īģِ īēīģīģ īģĒِ
The believer (the best) who fights in the way of Allah with his life and wealth. (Bukhari 2786, 6494)
